RECOVERY TRAJECTORY

Overview of a PTSD Recovery Path

Customized PTSD recovery.

A shocking event, a situation, which usually

many weeks, months and sometimes even (many) years before

going on a first conversation has taken place,

is still considered by us to be a serious and acute

personal crisis situation.

That is why it is assumed when registering that an appointment will take place in the short term. An appointment is preferably made within 24 hours after registration for an introductory meeting.

It is common for this first meeting to take place within a few days of signing up. Given the (serious) situation, it is usually not desirable to complete a questionnaire in advance. This will therefore take place together during a first (non-binding) and free introductory meeting.

An evaluation will take place after this introductory meeting. Normally, a personal coaching recovery process can be proposed immediately after this with a total price.

A recovery process consists of a series of coaching sessions. The number of sessions is determined before the start of the recovery process on the basis of the specific personal PTSD situation. During the recovery process, there is a weekly coaching session and a coaching session lasts approximately one and a half hours.

Each coaching session has a variable duration, but normally a session lasts about an hour and a half.

Progressive and well-founded interventions are personally tailored to the situation. They are aimed at permanently solving in the here-and-now the cause/trigger of the recorded automatic and reflex reactions in the form of negative emotions/feelings. This can be, for example, re-experiences, fears and other negative emotions, negative feelings, limiting thoughts, limiting beliefs, fantasies. All phenomena that make life with PTSD so unbearable.

The effects of the progressive interventions used during a coaching session lead directly to consciously measurable and lasting change. Change that is immediately noticeable and that is further integrated into everyday life in the days after a coaching session.

Everything is personally tailored to the unique PTSD situation. Standard PTSD does not exist - everyone has their own and unique way of processing a too shocking event.

Furthermore, one learns relatively simple, but very powerful performance and stress management support tools. In this way, an active contribution is made to further integration between the coaching sessions.

These qualitative aids have a personal strengthening effect. These tools are of great practical value even after a PTSD recovery process.

For example, breathing and heart coherence (an app on phone, tablet or computer), diary crucial effects and other practical and situation-applied minimal self-supportive activities are used.

From a holistic and integral trauma approach, further attention is paid to own core strengths (Tweekracht™), nutrition, communication (including drama triangle and transactional analysis), walking, (light) strength training, sports, relaxation and further targeted support of the autonomic nervous system.

In addition, specific support audio/visual materials adapted to the personal situation are offered.

A PTSD and trauma recovery trajectory is aimed at effective recovery from PTSD and trauma with a good quality of life.

Take back control of your life and make your own choice now. Choose a recovery process that will actively support you to give you back your energy, so that you can start living your own life again.
